This is the part 1 of the wizard guide.

Wizard’s Guide

Introduction

A wizard in Silk Road has the power over the following four spirits: earth, fire, cold and lightning. Each spirit has its own specialty and one should master these spirits according to their own needs. Expect there spirits a wizard has other skills that enhance their skills in active but also in passive ways.

A wizard is a full Int. character.
Weapon: Staff
Armor: Robe
Skill Points (for level 90 fully farmed): 485'643
At level 90, a wizard has (without armor):
HP:6350
MP:21908
Magical balance:
96


Natural Spirits
“Thanks to their efforts to transform mana, the source of power, into energy, Wizards produced various kinds of energy by combining natural elements and mana based on the theory of material circulation. They went even further to intensify the power of natural energy they created. As a result, they discovered that the destructive power of the natural elements can be increased as much as possible when they amplify the inner energy of the elements, which led Wizards to strengthen their ability.”Each spirit comes with its own series of attacking and buff skills. These skills are later upgraded and replaced by similar skills in higher levels. To increase one’s power in these skills the “Natural Spirit” skills must be mastered. The four natural spirit skills are Earth Spirit, Fire Spirit, Cold Spirit, Lightning Spirit.

Earth Mentalist
“Earth line magic combines mana with the force of earth, one of the basic elements in nature. There are a variety of skills leveraging features of the earth, which has a static energy flows on the surface and unstable forces inside.”All your earth mentalist attacking skills will have an effect on your environment that is attack the enemies around you. So be careful when using them. Even tough it is sometimes dangerous to use, it is highly recommended to master all the skills of this spirit.

As an Earth Mentalist, you will get the following skills:

1.Ground Charge and its upgrade Ground Rave
A short-range environment damage skill.
2. Earth Shock and its upgrade Earth Quake
A long-range environment damage skill.
3. Root and its upgrade Mesh Root
A short-range negative buff skill.
4. Earth Barrier and its upgrade Earth Fence
A short-range positive(party) buff skill.

Fire Mentalist
“Fire line magic combines mana with the force of fire, one of the basic elements in nature before turning it into energy. You release roaring flames which can burn not only body but mind so that you can contain an enemy or discover an invisible enemy by brightening inner eyes.”It is the most useful and powerful spirit a wizard can use, it is highly recommended to master all the skills of this spirit.

As a Fire Mentalist, you will get the following skills:
1. Fire Bolt
A long-range damage skill.
2. Fire Blow and its upgrade Salamander Blow
A short-range damage skill.
3. Meteor
A short-range environment damage skill.
4. Fire Trap and its upgrade Lava Trap
A long-range negative buff/ environment damage skill.
5. Detect and its upgrade Sprawl Detect
A long-range negative buff skill.

Cold Mentalist
“Cold line magic combines mana with the force of water, one of the basic elements in nature to extract cold energy. This cold energy can freeze even souls, so you can release this energy against your enemy to freeze and slow him down, or hide yourself inside transparent ice veils, frightening enemies.”It is also a useful spirit and recommended to master.

As a Cold Mentalist, you will get the following skills:
1. Ice Bolt and its upgrade Frozen Spear
A long-range damage skill.
2. Snow Wind and its upgrade Blizzard
A long-range environment damage skill.
3. Mana Drain and its upgrade Mana Drought
A long-range negative buff skill.
4. Invisible
A short-range positive buff skill.
5. Crystal Invisible
A short-range positive (party) buff skill.

Lightning Mentalist
Lightning line magic combines mana with the force of air, one of the basic elements in nature before transforming electric force into electric energy. You can electrocute your enemy by taking full advantage of electricity or move yourself farther so that you confuse and contain the enemy.”Most of your lightning mentalist attacking skills will have an effect on your environment that is attack the enemies around you. So be careful when using them. It is the weakest of the all the four sprits, most wizards do not fully master this skill.
As a Lightning Mentalist, you will get the following skills:

1. Lightning Bolt and its upgrade Chain Lightning
A long-range environment damage skill.
2. Charged Wind and its upgrade Charged Squall
A short-range environment damage skill.
3. Lightning Shock and its upgrade Lightning Impact
A long-range negative buff skill.
4. Teleport and its upgrade Aerial Teleport
A short-range positive support skill.
